Philippe Lerner, MBA, is a turnaround artist who helps companies go from stressed to at ease with their finances.
Philippe spent eight years as Assistant CFO at Sinclair, where he helped the company grow from 4,000 to over 50,000 employees and achieve Fortune 500 status. He then joined CohnReznick, a leading CPA firm, consulting for major real estate investors.
When the housing market collapsed in 2008, Philippe saw an opportunity to serve a different audience—small business owners. Many didn’t need a full-time CFO but did need a trusted partner to keep their financial house in order. That vision became PL Consulting.
Philippe earned his MBA from Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School and has served as Vice President of Finance and Treasury for the Baltimore Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
Born and raised in Belgium, with additional years spent in the Middle East and South America, Philippe is fluent in six languages and brings a truly global perspective to his work. He lives in Baltimore with his wife and children and remains active in his community, serving on the boards of two nonprofits.
