A Few Words About PL Consulting

We know — it’s a trust issue. When you admit you need a bookkeeper, you have to be forthcoming. You have to hand over bank and credit card statements and share financial information, not to mention security data and access to your accounts. Revealing your financials feels like a vulnerability, exposing a lot about you and the way you run your business.

You don’t want to feel judged by your books. And we don’t judge. PL Consulting thrives on helping you succeed. And we guard your data fiercely.

In fact, we’re so sure that our services will end up saving you more than our cost, that we’ll guarantee it. And when we get started, you will quickly discover how much less stress and fear and worry you will experience.

Let our experienced team ease the pressures from your monthly budgets. We can manage the ins and outs of budgeting and forecasting, propose cost reductions, and collect receivables. We can process government program applications and schedule aging payables.

We will even risk our jobs by educating your staff on how to write and read monthly balance sheets and profit and loss statements, set up payroll, or learn how to navigate your accounting software.

Every business owner has felt financial pressure at some point. Once you start working with PL Consulting’s transparent and tailored business models, you will feel relief and be in a position to go further in your business than you imagined you could.

About Philippe Lerner

President at PL Consulting Bookkeeping Plus+

Philippe Lerner, MBA, is a turnaround artist. He helps companies go from nothing to something and from headache to happiness.

Philippe worked for eight years as the Assistant CFO for Sinclair. At the time he started they had 4,000 employees. He helped them get to 50,000 and become a Fortune 500 company. After that, Philippe moved to CohnReznick, a CPA firm where he consulted large real estate investors.

When the housing market collapsed in 2008, Philippe decided it was time to start his own company and help small business owners who don’t always want a CFO, but rather someone they can trust to keep their financial house in order.

Philippe built a customized consulting company that tailors its bookkeeping advice to the specific and varying needs of its customers. A truly made-to-order and focused experience gives PL’s clients not only the result they were searching for, but the ability to improve the functionality of their core business. PL believes in customizing the service so that clients can focus on what is most important to them, growing and improving their businesses.

Working with a variety of clients, from start-ups to Fortune 500s, and spanning different industries, PL’s guidance has directly resulted in clients making sound and profitable business decisions, increasing sales and reducing costs, all while becoming more efficient. With PL’s specialized service and CFO expertise, his team’s recommendations enable each and every client to forge a financially secure future for their business.

Born and raised in Belgium with additional years living in the Middle East and South America and fluent in six languages, Philippe’s diverse background allows for rigorous engagement regardless of a client’s varied businesses or cultural norms. PL Consulting is truly equipped to assist its clients in this ever-changing and global economy.

Philippe currently resides in Baltimore, with his wife and children and is an active member of his community, serving on the board of two not-for-profits.
